Florida Circuit 16 Goal Championship
The USPA and participating clubs are excited to announce the new FL Circuit 16 goal Series
and Championship to be played across multiple clubs and the new NPC. The participating clubs are
The Wellington Polo Tour, Port Mayaca Polo Club, and Sarasota Polo Club. The tournaments of the
series are the Joe Barry Memorial, Ylvisaker Cup, Iglehart Cup, and Continental Cup. Each of these
tournaments will serve as a qualifier for the Florida Circuit 16 Goal Series Championship where the
four tournament winners will be eligible to compete. Information on dates and how to enter each of
these events are listed below. In addition, the Wellington Polo Tour will be hosting the NPC
Inaugural Cup and the Outback Cup which will be played outside of the FL Circuit 16 Goal Series,
but with dates that do not conflict with the FL Circuit 16 goal Series, to allow for teams to participate
in all 16 goal events.

**The FL Circuit 16- Goal Series Championship
Hosted and managed by NPC
Tournament Dates: April 5-April 9, 2023 (All games played at NPC)
Entry limited to the four winners of the qualifying tournaments
FL Circuit 16 Goal Series/16 Goal Series Championship Guidelines:
The four qualifying tournaments will be the:
1. Joe Barry Memorial (Port Mayaca)
2. Ylvisaker Cup (WPT)
3. Iglehart Cup (WPT)
4. Continental Cup (Sarasota)
These four tournaments despite being called a Series will NOT be considered a “Series of
Events” as defined by USPA rules as it relates to handicaps.
The Host Tournament Committee will be comprised of Host Club representatives and
USPA/NPC representatives.
Teams are NOT required to enter all 4 qualifying tournaments and single tournament
entries will be permitted.
The winning team from each qualifying tournament shall qualify for the FL Circuit 16
Goal Series Championship held at NPC (semi-final and finals, 4 teams) April 5-April 9,
2023, with finals on NPC Field 1.
If the same team wins more than one qualifier, that team will automatically advance to
the FL Circuit 16 Goal Series Championship finals eliminating a need for a semifinal.
If a player wins more than one event, but on different teams, the player may choose
which team he or she would like to compete with in the FL Circuit 16 Goal Series
Championship and the other team may use a substitute.
A team that wins a qualifying event must have at least two of the original members of the
winning team to play in the FL Circuit 16 Goal Series Championship. If this is not
possible, the team must forfeit.
